The other artists short-listed for the Awards were Yason Banal, Lena Cobangbang, Marina Cruz, Anton del Castillo, Bembol dela Cruz, Wawi Navarroza, Rodel Tapaya, Jay Ticar and Jevijoe Vitug.

The Art Smart program, an innovative service provided by the country's leading wireless telecommunications company, Smart Communications, in partnership with the premier museum of modern Philippine art, the Ateneo Art Gallery, to bring modern and contemporary Philippine art to a wider audience, allowed Smart subscribers to vote for their favorite participating artist during the the "Ateneo Art Awards 2006: Outbound" exhibition at the North Court, Power Plant Mall from 1 - 7 August 2006. The same exhibition runs at the Ateneo Art Gallery from 16 August - 21 September 2006.

visit our on-line forum and drop me a PM if you are interested. Thanks.
Hi Ms. Wawi Navarroza, I found your site through my friend Erving Go. First up, congratulations for winning the SMART Award! :D
Also, is it alright if I feature your fashion photography (any/all spreads you've done, one spread at a time of course) on a Livejournal community I'm a part of, foto_decadent? I'm sure your work will fit right in. :)
Thanks muchly!
Sincerely,

I just saw that Wawi Navarroza has been nominated in PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of the Year contest at PETAAsiaPacific.com! I'm a big fan of hers and I'm so happy to see she has a compassionate side for animals. Make sure you cast your vote for her HERE.
